The Dream
I'm in the lobby of an expensive hotel. What felt like the Hilton. As my friend who was there with me (my old roommate from Austin)went up to the counter to check us in, I began looking around the lobby. There was the cast of a television show there shooting something. They all said hello as I walked past them. I wasn't really excited to see them - just smiled.
Somewhere in the lobby I found a BAD ASS acoustic guitar that was being held for some kind of giveaway related to the television show that was there. Something happened, I looked down and realized I had won. I picked up the guitar and started playing it really well. I was so happy. But there was an emotion that left me feeling like I stole it. Like it didn't belong to me.
When we got to our room, I realized I had left my ipad in the lobby. I had borrowed this ipad from my friend Kate. In a panic I went down to the lobby - still crowded by people and stars and began looking for this ipad. Under tables, under people, in bags, on tables, chairs, etc. There were lots of products that looked like what I was searching for - but not my ipad. As I was crawling along the floor looking for my item I found a ring that belonged to two of the mean girls that were standing over me. The ring was silver and it had one heart on it. Simple and pretty.
I went up to the front counter to see if they had my ipad. They were very rude. Mocking me for some reason. It made me feel unwelcome and below them. I gave them the ring and told them who I thought it belonged to. They stopped mocking me after that.
When I went back to the hotel room, my friend was in the shower. It actually turned out that we were there as a couple. I decided I hadn't brought the ipad with me so there was nothing to keep looking for. But when I went to see my friend in the shower. I noticed there were 3 rooms attached to the side of the bathroom. One leading to another, all kids rooms.
They weren't ours. As I began going in to close all the doors and eventually the one connected to our bathroom I realized there were families in these rooms. I looked at my friend like she was crazy. Once the doors were closed we spent 'time' together.
I was back at a trailer home. It felt like it was my home. My dad was there and several other people. I was mad because he let my sister and her boyfriend drive my car without letting me know. There were trash bags of clothes and junk all over my front porch and in my yard. Later on my cousin, Doug showed up in a jeep (that belongs to my mom in real life) he was just there to say hello. My sister was rude when I confronted her about the car. Like it wasn't that big of a deal. I wanted to punch her, but didn't.
